RUBAN took part in Tsvetnoy's anniversary advertising campaign. Especially for this complex multi-chamber fantastic story with a deep plot, special effects and fashionable images, Alisa and Julia Ruban have prepared an exclusive transformable trenchcoat with organza decor.The collaboration continued with the integration of this unique item into an installation that took place in the Department Store after the film's official release.
The RUBAN atelier and the design duo of Alisa and Yulia Ruban brought to life the idea of two friendly editions and created a cosmetic bag that reflects the philosophy of all project participants. The main idea in design is the attitude to the seamy side which is actually the face. The result of the collaboration was a cosmetic bag with a label sewn on the outside, contrasting stitching and a QR code. The latter led on the details of the project and details about the beauty products located inside which were voted on by the editors of FLACON magazine and Wonderzine.
The Snow Queen together with Alisa and Yulia Ruban told a story about muses in a big city. The design duo has created a collection on the basis of the key principles of the RUBAN brand of transformability and versatility. Any item from the collaboration is part of a smart wardrobe with which everyone can effortlessly create their own unique fashion look.
Stylish and comfortable set for young ballerinas was created by Ruban Atelier for Galina Ballerina studios. The set of pink ballet leotards with net skirts, sports bag with pockets for hair accessories, pointe shoes and a bottle of water, sports suits with transformable details is available exclusively at Galina Ballerina studios.
Ruban refers to Orient engravings and floral ornaments in SS’19 collection created within Ruban for Ekonika collaboration. The flowers are embroidered, printed and stamped on leather, cotton and linen. For the collection designers have chosen pale and soft colors, very typical for Asian fine arts. The asymmetric lines of the decorations and finishings, distinguished details and accessories symbolize the contrast and the similarity between East and West.
RUBAN brand has created the uniform specially for the restaurant of PAUL BAKERY company. The designers have chosen cotton and denim to make stylish and multi-functional clothing sets. The color palette consists of dark blue and chocolate colors which are perfect for working in PAUL BAKERY cozy interiors. The distinctive feature of the uniform is the patch pockets both for the comfort and for the styling.
Exclusively for Vnukovo Outlet Village Birthday designers of Ruban brand created a capsular collection comprising 7 items – the best sellers of the trademark latest seasons.
The idea of the collection was to create an ideal basic wardrobe. Each item of the limited series has repeatedly been recognized by the brand customers as a key garment that can serve the base to build various images day by day.
While cooperating with the airlines Alisa and Yulia Ruban developed universal outfits and accessories for travellers. The main goal to shape an image that can be changed for different situations, climatic conditions and dress codes. That was possible owing to the transforming garment and functional parts. They are: parka, hoody, trousers, t-shirts, bonnet, tavel-bag ( sleep mask, pillow and slippers).
Under the large-scale collaboration of RUBAN for Ekonika for two seasons Ruban trademark designed the collections of footwear and accessories for a major player in the industry.
Each footwear model, developed in this collaboration, was designed to combine recognizable features of the duet creative work and Ekonika comfort and affordability.
The “Journey to Christmas“ Festival from the Government of Moscow and the City Department of Culture has twice been decorated with a fir-tree created by the designers’ duet of Alisa and Yulia Ruban.
In 2017 the Christmas tree, decorated with a thousand buds, repeating the prints from the SS’17 brand collection, came into bloom on Kuznetsky Bridge.
On the eve of 2018 everybody was offered to peer through the light refracting mirrors into a fairy-tale created out of the sophisticated city reflections.
Within the framework of RUBAN x Philip Morris cooperation a large-scale project was implemented to create corporate image standards of IQOS brand staff. In addition to the development and manufacture of the uniform, taking into account specific activities of each department of the company, RUBAN brand provided an image book with its recommendations to shape holistic images of IQOS representatives throughout Russia.
Veuve Clicquot marked the start of the spring-summer season by launching a gift set of flash tattoos, designed by RUBAN team. The sets of temporary tattoos were included into the limited series of beverages.
Since 2015 RUBAN brand has been annually participating in VOGUE FASHION’S NIGHT OUT project, for which it creates a limited collection of T-shirts. Each season designers present their vision of the theme offered by the leading fashion magazine.
For the Russian release of the spin-off of the star saga “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” TSUM trading house, the Russian representative office of Disney company and L’Officiel offered to interpret the outfit of the leading heroine of the film in RUBAN aesthetics. The complete image was exhibited in the TSUM windows and appeared on L’Officiel pages, while its second copy was sold at the charity auction.
Exclusively for Alena Doletskaya’s “Dacha Store” space in PODIUM market a capsular collection of garments was made for a relaxing summer holiday. Trenches, dresses, blouses and culottes of linen and cotton as well as with recognizable RUBAN cutting were shown in the flagmanship store of the chain.
For the international project “Russia goes to Asia” RUBAN brand was engaged to create a capsular collection dedicated to the launch of Buro 24/7 Singapore. The capsule was exclusively available in Singapore in a special pop-up store Buro 24/7.
Buro 24/7 jointly with the children charity fund "Sincere hearts", under the charity project inspired the best young designers to create special Valentine’s cards, thus shaping the images resembling the symbol of heart. Alisa and Yulia Ruban presented their iconic sweater RUBAN in a new cheerful color with a handmade heart-shaped brooch. The sweater was exclusively available at aizel.ru.
Exclusively for Tsvetnoy Department store designers Alisa and Yulia Ruban created a sport chic style collection. The capsule was based on the RUBAN spring-summer catwalk collection. It included a knitted dress, a sweatshirt and shorts with a flowery design. The face of the capsule look-book was an old friend of RUBAN TM – Nadezhda Obelentseva.
In honour or the premiere of film “Cinderella” RUBAN brand was invited by Disney office in Russian and TsUM trading house to participate in creating the image of modern Cinderella. Outfits from Russian designers were exhibited in the windows of the Trading House and also in the fantasy installation inside the Department Store dedicated to the film release.
